Abstract
- The article presents a study which discusses the diagnosed population-attributable fraction (PAF) cancers in women in Great Britain in 2010 due to their past or current use of hormonal preparations. The study used general practice research database (GPRD) to examine the impact of the preparations and carcinogenicity testing with oestrogen-progestogen menopausal therapy in the breast. Results show that the prevalence of female sex hormones use is found to be greatest in women ages 20-24.
