Abstract
- The article presents a study that examined the delay in time through patient, general practitioner (GP) and system from first cancer symptom to diagnosis and treatment of cancer. A cohort study was conducted in the County of Aarhus, Denmark and data collected from Gps on cancer patients. Results conclude that system delay accounted more in the total delay experienced by cancer patients.
