Abstract

The article presents the author's insights on the duties of organizations and transport firms regarding the safety measures in the workplace. It mentions the case of Cotswold Geotechnical Holdings Ltd., wherein the company convicted due to the failure on putting steps to protect the employee from accidents. It states that the Corporate Manslaughter Act do not impose imprisonment as sanction, instead convicted organizations confront an unlimited fine.
