Abstract: The article discusses the intercomparison of ground-based ultraviolet (UV) radiometers conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency of Aosta Valley (ARPA Valle d'Aosta) in Saint-Christophe, Italy from June 8-23, 2010. It states that the downward global solar UV irradiance at the ground have been measured in a synchronized manner and the raw series has been processed by the respective operators. It also explores the development of an algorithm for comparing broadband spectra and data.
