Abstract: The article presents a study on the development of a cryo-stage to adapt to the standard setup of the SLS X04SA tomography beamline at the Swiss Light Source synchrotron facility to the requirements of ice particle micro-tomography. The study states that the cryo-stage gives three-dimensional data on the individual inner pore shape delineation. Also, quantitative information on the in situ pore structure statistics in individual samples can be derived through the synchroton tomography approach.
