Abstract: The article analyzes the research on disdrometers based on published literature. It uses the Web of Science, published by Thomson Reuters, as the data base of bibliographic reference. It collects more than 300 articles which are analyzed according to several criteria including the countries with research using disdrometers, publication dates, bibliometric analysis of the more than 60 journals where these articles have been published.
