Abstract
- The article presents information on marketing research surveys published in various journals. The marketing survey "Keener Competition for Display Space Puts Burden of Salesmen to Get It," published in March 1950 issue of "Printer's Ink," presents information about executive's opinion concerning the use of display material. Opinions also are given for a number of other problems arising in connection with the use of this advertising medium. Another survey "Does Client Loyalty Pay Off," by Halsell, published in the April 1950 issue of "Advertising Agency," reveals that there seems to be a direct relationship between long-term client-agency connections and client earnings over the years. The survey "How 147 Agencies Use Pension and Profit Sharing Plans,"by J.K. Lasser and Ira W. Rubel, published in the April 1950 issue of "Advertising Agency" focused on the significance of pension and profit sharing plans in agency operation. The reasons for following certain policies are explained and may of the tax regulations concerning such plans are presented in general outline.
