Abstract

The article provides an outlook on the economy of Japan in 2011. The gross domestic product (GDP) growth is projected to remain flat due to the economic impact of the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. An overview on the consumer price inflation (CPI), exchange rates and the economic policy is offered.
