DYEHOUSE EFFLUENT REMEDIATION UTILIZING A NOVEL SYNTHETIC ADSORBENT: STATIC TESTING.

The article presents research which dealt with the use of a novel synthetic adsorbent in the static testing of dyehouse effluent remediation. The researchers selected azo metal complex, monoazo metal complex and anthraquinone for the examination of concentrations of these three adsorbents. They added three drops of methanol to the solutions to assist in wetting out the adsorbent in each vial. They sealed the vials and placed them on a Belko rocker platform and processed them at five reversals per minute for a day.
