DEMONSTRATION OF AUTOMATED DYEBATH REUSE IN A PRODUCTION FACILITY.

The article presents research which focused on the development of an automated dyebath and process for its reuse in a production facility. The researchers altered the standard dyeing process in order to capture the maximum amount of energy, water and chemicals for reuse. They also modified the equipment used in the process and added piping and valves to the plumbing of the dyebath to transfer the bath from and to the holding tank. They created two types of dye systems which they used for the hot-start/hot-drop trials.
