Abstract
- A poetry criticism explores the works of English Romantic poet William Wordsworth including the poems "The Redbreast Chasing the Butterfly," "To a Butterfly / Stay Near Me," and "The Green Linnet." It focuses on how the works present the author's attitudes towards human-animal relationships and provides an overview of philosophies supporting animals as sentient beings and humanity's moral responsibilities towards protecting animals from cruelty.
