Abstract

The article focuses on the federal and provincial acts and regulations that radio and television commericials need to follow before being aired in Canada. It also contains a brief on Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), a government organization operating in Canada to supervise the broadcast of advertisements. Various pre-clearance, and clearance organizations for the aproval of commercials and infomercials have also been briefed in the article.
