Abstract
- The article offers information on the declaration of Raytheon Co. (RTN) and Lockheed Martin (LMT) to display their new radar systems in U.S. in December 2011. The new technology is the baseline version of Space Fence, the Air Force space surveillance system S-Band radar. Both radar systems are competing to grab a contract from U.S. Air Force, and will be demonstrated by their producers in the preliminary design review (PDR) phase of the competition.
