Kleptocratic Capitalism, Climate Finance, and the Green Economy in Africa.

The article presents the author's insights on the economic development and environmental protection in Africa. The author comments that Africa's economic growth model is flawed, as stated in the United Nations (UN) Economic Commission for Africa's report which shows lack of improvement in employment of ordinary Africans. He discusses the exploitation of Africa's resources via global kleptocratic capitalism. He also cites the need to balance human rights and environmental protection in Africa.
