Abstract
- The article discusses research on direct conservation benefits of long-term research presence to wildlife populations at Taï National Park (TNP) in Côte d'Ivoire. TNP has two long-term research initiatives which include the Taï Chimpanzee Project and Taï Monkey Project. The surveys focused on duikers and primates because they tend to be affected by poaching within the research area. It is concluded that study area proximity brings positive impact on said animals.
