Abstract
- An interview is presented with California-based painter Ed Ruscha. When asked about how living in Los Angeles, California has influenced his work, he discusses the impact of desert vegetation. When asked about creating a handmade edition of the book "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac, he discusses his identification with hitchhiking. Other topics include trash as art, the passage of time, and relations between artists and galleries.
