Abstract
- The article offers information on a study conducted by the authors related to poisoning suicide rates in Taiwan and decrease in it due to pesticide restriction interventions. It states that data on methods of suicide from 1971-1993 was obtained and changes in solids or liquids poisoning suicide rates were compared with other methods like hanging. It mentions that there was no increase in suicide by other methods when there was decrease in solids/liquids poisoning suicide.
