Abstract
- With "Manifestations of Poor Glycemic Control" included in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (2010) present on-admission criteria, hospitals are at a pivotal point in needing to evaluate current methods and outcomes of glycemic management. This study provides one hospital's comparison of two methods of hyperglycemia management: basal insulin and basal-bolus insulin. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
