Abstract
- The article focuses on the major factors and trends in the government bond market in the U.S. in 1952, as described by Leroy M. Piser, who also makes predictions for 1953. The author feels there are several factors that indicate an underlying trend of price movements in the long-term market between 1952 and 1953. The author states that shifts in Treasury and Federal Reserve policy have, and will continue, to affect supply and demand, and appear to be independent of developing changes in the general economic climate.
