The research of an archieve reveals both the events that left an imprint in various historical time spans and the socio-cultural characteristics that shape their "atmosphere". In the first half of the 20th century electricity had been introduced in some of the townships in the Brasov County. Noting by default all the political and economical transformations that marked the time span, all the documents kept in archives grasp the rationality, responsibility and the good faith of all economic activities related and carried in those times. The world grasped in those documents is a world in which work really has a meaning, where the natural or artificial community inspires safety and the traditional values guide desired behaviours.
