Abstract

Chapter IV of the book "The Adventures of Ulysses," by Charles Lamb is presented. It explores the detainment of Ulysses by sea nymph Calypso, in the Isle Ogygia named the Delightful Island. It highlights the command of Jove to Mercury to go down to earth to order Calypso to dismiss Ulysses, upon the request of Jove's daughter Minerva.
