Abstract
- The article focuses on the impact of the proliferation of non-news stories on the credibility of newspapers. According to the authors, the huge interest of the public to non-news stories is the key reason why they are worthy of coverage. They add that newspapers will lose its credibility if they will not publish non-news stories because of readers' complaints. A brief description of non-news stories is provided.
