Abstract

The article focuses on the implications of a multilateral global governance system in the twenty-first century with the rise of emerging powers. Topics include the representation of developing countries such as China and India in international organizations, diplomacy and international cooperation between countries, the role of the G-20 large economies on the international system, and issues of accountability and responsibility for world leaders. It is suggested that the cooperation of the G-20 countries could result in solving problems of legitimacy and efficiency or could result in a governing body like the United Nations (UN).
