Abstract
- The article focuses on the study conducted to examine the relationship between maternal education and mortality rate among women giving birth in hospital. It mentions that women with no health education had 2.7 times more the risk of maternal mortality with the women with more than 12 years of education. It offers suggestions that attention must be given to the wider social determinants of health to reduce maternal mortality.
