Abstract

The article highlights ways to form environmental capacity in an agricultural setting. Capacity development is defined as a continuous cycle that is made up of accepting the need for change, identifying the things to be changes and implementing capacity development strategies. The private sector and the civil society at national and farm/community level are some of the entry points in implementing environmental management capacity.
