Abstract
- The article presents information about a study which analyzes the expression and the potential functions of CD133, a cancer stem cell (CSC) marker, in human cholangiocarcinoma (CC). The study observes fifty-nine cases including 5 normal liver tissues and 54 consecutive CC specimens. With the help of immunohistochemical stainning, it revealed that CD133 expression is associated with the differentiation of CC and CD133 is a potential indicator for prognosis of human CC.
