The Psychosocial Effects of Cleft Lip and Palate in Non-Anglo Populations: A Cross-Cultural Meta-Analysis.

The article presents a study which examines the cross-cultural psychosocial effect of clef palate and lip in non-Anglo populations. The study made use of the data from four studies of controlled study and empirical designs to estimate the effect size using Cohen's D and confidence intervals. The result of the study shows that men with cleft palate and lip are more prone to psychosocial issues as compared to women.
