Focuses on a retrospective chart review of infants diagnosed with perinatally acquired HIV infection who were born to women who became pregnant subsequent to the introduction of universal prenatal HIV counselling in Ontario. Evaluation of the effectiveness of prenatal HIV counselling and testing programs in several countries; Diagnosis of children who were perinatally infected with HIV.
