Abstract
- The article discusses the amazing growth of ebooks in the marketplace worldwide in 2011. It says that the move of Amazon into ebook publishing is as a major milestone in the evolving publishing marketplace in the 21st-century. An updated survey of ebook adoption released by the American Association of Publishers (AAP) and Book Industry Study Group (BISG) shows that print and digital book formats experienced revenue gain in 2010. The innovation brought into the ebook format is also discussed.
