Abstract

The article offers information on the agriculture by native American people. It states that the agriculture in the Woodland between the period AD 1000-1500 was called horticulture and extensive cultivation. Hunting, fishing, and gathering wild plant foods were also preferred by them. It also informs about the benefits of method of agriculture used by the native Americans in the past that made the soil ideal for planting and germination.
