Abstract: The article comments on the paper "Testing a Prediction Method for Multivariate Budgets," by Baruch Lev, that appears in the December 1, 1969 issue of the "Journal of Accounting Research." The author states that Lev discusses the need for developing a required algorithm for the calculation and the capability of planning marginal totals on the basis of broad constraints. The author explains that Lev's method of final adjustment of his cell entries does not adjust the information ratio because the required algorithm for calculation has not been developed.
