Abstract
- The article presents the opinion of the members of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) Council regarding their views on the proposal that the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) should develop its role as a scientific body and a source of informed and impartial opinion. BVA President Harvey Locke explained that the BVA Board had advised that the BVA should take action to protect its role as the primary source of informed veterinary opinion.
