Abstract
- The authors describe the probable role that psychologists will play in the training of primary health care providers for the delivery of mental health services. This concept is based upon the expectation that the primary care practitioners will soon be assuming an expanded role requiring the incorporation of more specialist knowledge during his professional training period and that the psychologist will likely be the facilitator for this process in the mental health are of training.
