Abstract
- The article focuses on the unpreparedness of the government of Canada to face chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear (CBRN) disasters. According to doctor Carl Javis, the Medical Emergency Treatment for Exposures to Radiation (METER), a training package provided by Health Canada, must have a continuous funding from the government. It states that medical personnel must be trained for disaster preparedness.
