Abstract
- The article presents a study regarding the growth of the fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes in mice. The results demonstrate that the fungus was grown from two mice showing clinical evidence of mouse favus. The infection in T. rodens demonstrated tinea lesions with a distinct inflammatory reaction and a tendency to invade hairs in an ectothrix fashion.
