Solvent resistance and mechanical properties in thermoplastic elastomer blends prepared by dynamic vulcanization.

The article discusses a study which examined the solvent resistance and mechanical properties of thermoplastic elastomer blends prepared by dynamic vulcanization. In this study, three thermoplastics polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP), and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) were analyzed in combination with two rubbers. The blends were also tested for exposure to solvents, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
