Abstract
- The article discusses a study on the development of handedness, by comparing the people of today with the remains of those found at British archeological sites. It states that an investigation of the skeletal remains of non-adults were found to be neither left nor right handed, but that generally, the latter developed later as children approached adulthood. It reports that this is consistent with modern humans, and suggest that the same biomechanical forces are at work which lead to the development of handedness.
