Abstract

The article discusses an experiment which investigated the photocrosslinking of electrospun fibers chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol (CS/PVA). Poly(ethyleneglycol)-600-dimethacrylate (PEGDMA) was used as the photocrosslinking agent while 2-hydroxy-1-[4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl]-2-methyl-1-propanone (HEPK) was used as photoinitiator. Increasing the content of PEGDMA/HEPK improved the water resistance and decreased the swelling ratio of the photocrosslinked nanofibers.
