Abstract
- The article presents an overview of the economic and social conditions in Canada between 1960 and 2009. It mentions the increase of gross domestic product (GDP) in the country by 401% within the said period. It notes the rise of unemployment from 7.0% in 1960 to 8.3% in 2009. A brief information about the country is also provided including its head of state, foreign minister, and trade partners.
