Abstract

The article discusses the possibility that France's Christine Lagarde will be replacing Dominique Strauss-Khan as managing director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It notes that Lagarde's stint with Chicago law firm Baker & McKenzie allowed her to develop the business and diplomatic skills that has serve her. Information on the auction of the 1934 book "Security Analysis," 2nd ed., by Benjamin Graham and David Dodd is also offered.
