Abstract
- The article discusses local and regional history at England's University of Exeter, examining both the Streatham Campus and the Tremough Campus near Falmouth, Cornwall. It comments on the university's Institute of Cornish Studies and its community outreach work. The author also reflects on Knowledge Transfer grants awarded to Exeter by the British Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). Other topics include public history projects and the Exeter Local Maritime Archives Project (EMAP) of the Streatham Centre for Maritime Historical Studies.
