Abstract
- The article highlights the report "Department for Education: Getting Value for Money from the Education of 16- to 18-Year-Olds," by the Comptroller and Auditor General of the British National Audit Office (NAO). The report claims that learner achievement measures have shown improved national performance over the years, although variations still exist, with learners in larger providers usually showing better academic progress. The report also asserts that the British Department of Education failed to review the contributions of local authorities.
