Abstract

The article presents a study which identifies the polyphenol composition of Euphorbia canescens and E. franchetii. It states that the phenolic compounds in the aqueous fraction were tested using paper chromatography over a column of polyamide with elution by a CHCl<subscript>3</subscript>:MeOH gradient with an increased MeOH content. It mentions the compounds that were identified from their physicochemical properties including quercetin, kaempferol, and quercetin-3-rutinoside.
