Magmeter Basics.

The article discusses basics of electromagnetic flowmeters or magmeters, which are used for the measurement of a conductive liquid or liquid slurry. The construction, installaton parameters, and variations of magmeters are presented. Instrument engineers tend to select magmeters because of their obstructionless design, linear signal output, and corrosion-resistant wetted parts. It suggests that the magmeter should be properly grounded and installed in electrical contact with the liquid.
