Abstract

The article discusses the clinical features of pneumonia caused by the influenza A(H1N1) virus that broke out in Beijing, China in 2009. The authors derived data by observing the clinical characteristics, high resolution chest computed tomography scan and lung function test changes of adult patients with A(H1N1) during the convalescent phase. According to them, ground-glass opacities and decreased diffusing capacity were the primary characteristics observed from the survivors of the condition during the three-month follow-up period.
