Abstract
- In this article the author discusses the prediction of the size and dose range of hormesis in mixtures. The author relates the results of the study on the response of root length in lettuce and growth rate in duckweed exposed to mixtures pesticides giving biphasic concentration-response curves of varying degrees. She adds that there were no significant differences between the estimated values depending on the type of model used as long as risk assessment is based on an adverse effect endpoint.
