Abstract
- The article discusses the equal protection claims which can be brought by the transgender school children in the U.S. It presents a hypothetical case of a sixteen-year-old teen in an attempt to illustrate the nature of gender-identity discrimination experienced by American transgender students and to show the application of equal protection theories. Moreover, it explores the present state of the country's law resulting from sex discrimination claims.
