Abstract
- The article presents a study which determines the characteristics of wood wastes in British Columbia. It explores the potential suitability of wood wastes as soil amendments, seedling growth media and several end uses. It was found in the study that wood wastes are suitable amendments for road and landing rehabilitation, and in increasing moisture holding capacity of the soil for suitable vegetation.
