The Osmosis Danger.

The article argues in favor of the presentation made by U.S. Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger of intelligence report on Soviet military dispositions bearing on Poland in April 1981. It argues that his emphasis on the danger of a Soviet invasion reflects his knowledgeability about strategic matters across the board. It criticizes the failure of the West to assess the real danger to Poland of a possible Soviet invasion.
