Abstract

The article presents a study on the efficiency of the combination of corticosteroid injection plus exercise and manual therapy compared to manual therapy alone. It states that the combined treatment of corticosteroid injection plus exercise and manual therapy were allocated to 232 patients with unilateral shoulder pain. The results reveal that the patients who were introduced to the combined treatment had shown greater improvement compared with the exercise-alone group at one and six weeks.
